Small Groups provide an environment of deepening
relationships and the
opportunity to care for one another. We see Small Groups
as essential to membership at Grace. They are your key to developing connections
with those who share your interests or are dealing with similar life issues.
Small groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your
walk with the Lord. They are a great place to explore, ask questions, and grow
in your Christian faith, with love and encouragement from friends around you. Small Groups
are an incredible way of meeting on a monthly basis or as your groups
sees fit.
Each small group will have between 4 and 12 people and will
be led by a couple from your group. The
groups may be organized around location, stage of life, marital status, special
interests, and/or other needs. You can choose the group that you want to be part
of based on your own interests, availability, and affinity with the other
people in the group. Groups usually get together monthly. Each group works to
include issues and interests of the group, such as discussion of last week's
sermon, sporting activities, topics ie. depression, addictions, business, prayer and how
to pray, to parenting. Each group sets its own level of seriousness ranging from
“only bible study” to “today is a bible study and next week we’ll go watch a
movie.” Small Groups is a very rewarding experience.
